This panel aims to introduce attendees interested in Manga & Comics to a fresh and creative approach to writing. Led by Victoria L. Johnson, a prominent pop culture journalist with bylines in COMPLEX, Vulture, VIBE, and Mashable, this session will feature published authors who bring diverse perspectives to the table.
Join Jillian Rudes, Founder, host, and author of Manga in Libraries, as well as Manny Knight, an NYC illustrator, and Manga Artist influenced by 90s anime, comics, and JRPGs. Together, they will guide participants on how to get started, sharing industry insights and igniting new narratives and ideas. The session will be followed by an engaging Q&A session.
